How to Install acpidump software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

acpidump software package provides utilities to dump systems ACPI tables to an ASCII file, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install acpidump 

acpidump is installed in your system.

Make ensure the acpidump package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acpidump *

You will get with acpidump package name, version, architecture and description in a table
